I have scanned them and included them in this Blog. The originals have been returned as promised. If the pictures can't be scanned, send to me and I'll return them after I get them scanned/copied. I'd like these for inclusion in the MJKnipfing part of my family blog (anyone can copy/download for themselves and add their part of the "tree") .All the Knipfing "children" are shown in this blog.

About George Knipfing

Hello, my name is George Knipfing.

My wife Tricia and I are originally from New York and have lived in nine other states (Virginia, North Carolina, Arizona, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, for a short time in northern California, Massachusetts, and now in Florida). Tricia and I, and our 3 children, have also lived in the United Kingdom for about four years when I worked in Europe. In addition, while in the military, I spent a year in Southeast Asia. We have 7 grandchildren!

I am a Generalist both academically and in business. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from a small Liberal Arts college and a General MBA with advanced study in Management, Marketing/Sales and Finance from a large urban university. I have held management positions in Finance, then successfully transitioned to Sales, setting the stage for General Management. At different times, I've managed a staff of up to 250 people, was number 1 salesperson out of 200, and engaged in International business.

Currently, I am doing some work in retail, and consulting in International business. I have formed sales and support operations throughout Europe and Asia and channels in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to my current position, I was Vice President of Global Alliances for an eBusiness Consulting and Systems Integration company. Before that I was Compaq’s Principal Practice Manager for their Professional Services Supply Chain Management worldwide initiative. I was also a Director for a research and analyst firm and the Director of International Business Development for an EAI (Enterprise Applications Integration) software company. I was the President of a company started by Eli Goldratt (author of “The Goal” and developer of the Theory of Constraints). I also served as a member of the Board of Directors of a UK based company and was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Aside from “business” and family I am also active teaching Online Courses for the University of Phoenix.

I have been in 45 of our 50 states, mostly on business, and hope to visit the ones that I've missed in the not too distant future. They are situated in the beautiful northwest and are all connected. The states are Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. My passports number approximately 72 stamped pages, each with multiple entries to the extent that most are not readable. They represent a significant number of international business trips that I have taken over a number of years.

My hobbies include reading (novels, history/military, business...), digital photography, and exploring computer applications. Leisure activities include beach/water exploration (and rowing).
